BARNEY MARTIN SALON UPDATE
We are beyond excited (and a little nervous!) about trading from 11th October!
BOOKINGS, SILLY SEASON HAS COME EARLY!
We are working hard to get in the 1000+ missed appointments from the lockdown period whilst sticking to the 5 people rule. Bear with us as we have an enormous amount of rebooking and changes to accommodate. We will get back to every appointment request and appreciate your patience whilst we get to your enquiry.
From 11th – 25th October stylists will be working 2 days in the salon to be inline with the 5 person capacity. From 25th October stylists are working 4 days on and 4 days off 7 days a week.
We are asking for your patience and understanding as we begin the process of rebooking everyone, because of this temporary rostering system there is a chance that your stylist and colourist may not be on the same team, this isn’t a permanent roster change so your flexibility is greatly appreciated until we are able to reunite the team.
For all of our colour clients, please fill in the colour consultation form that you will receive via appointment confirmation link. As the time between colours has been longer than usual, it’s important for us to get a gauge of what we are dealing with ahead of your appointment so we can put a plan in place to get you back on your colour journey!
APPOINTMENTS, RUNNING LATE, CANCELLATIONS
With strict government guidelines in place for the foreseeable future, we request that you arrive promptly and on your own. Unfortunately we will not be able to accommodate additional guests (family, friends or children) at this time.
We do require all clients to be double vaccinated (all BM staff are double vaccinated) and to show their digital certificate upon arrival. To help the checking in process run smoothly we request that you complete the short Covid form (a link is sent as part of the confirmation text / email) before you come to the salon. Masks are to be worn by clients and stylists in the salon and the standard QR code procedure is in place.
Due to the high volume of booking requests that we are receiving we are requesting credit card confirmations upon making your booking. This means contactless payments at the end of your service and prevents any ‘last minute cancellations and no shows’ that could prevent others from losing out on much valued appointment times.
Credit card details are kept secure and we will never process a payment that hasn’t been agreed to via cancellation or pre quoting.
PARKING / TRAVEL TO SALON
We expect that parking may quickly become challenging again as restrictions start to ease so please allow enough time to factor parking in and arriving for your appointment on time. We can not guarantee or hold a parking space at the salon. The light rail stops at the top of Riley Street and is a short walk to the salon, some clients find this option more suitable and stress free than trying to find a parking space.
